Dark Glass Ponderings

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. -1 Corinthians 13:12

Wow, it seems like this Fall is an especially good season for new books.

I just finished T.L. Higley's Petra: City of Stone.  Now I'm reading Sarah Sundin's A Memory Between Us.  Stay tuned for both reviews!

Next up is Julie Lessman's highly anticipated A Hope Undaunted.  Stay tuned for Revell's biggest ever tour starring Mrs. Lessman's book.  And be sure to stop by here on Friday September 24th as I host Julie for an interview and giveaway!!

Her Daughter's Dream is Francine Rivers second book in the Marta's Legacy.  I haven't even read the first yet, but if this series is anything like her other books its sure to be Christian women's fiction at its finest.

I've never read Kay Marshall Strom, but haven't seen too many CBA books set in Africa, so I'm interested in The Voyage of Promise.

As a Lady Jane Gray fan I'm looking forward to reading Susan Meissner's Lady in Waiting.  As a matter of fact I would love to write a novel set during Lady Jane Grey's short tumultuous reign someday.

I love reading about the Puritan era, so Jody Hedlund's Preacher's Bride is another I can't wait to get my hands on.

Stories of courageous Christians in the early church are fictionalized in Valerias Cross.  And Pearl in the Sand appeals to me because of its subject, Rahab.

I'm sure I won't get to half these books, but I'm excited to see so many different books coming up.

What books are you most looking forward to this Fall?
