This summer I've seen a couple of Christian marriages around me fall apart in shockingly dramatic ways, it just reinforces the need for me and my house to be fully filled with the Spirit.

Very thought-provoking post! Thank you for the reminder that as much as the "fire" in our life can be painful, God is still working for our ultimate good and can use it to refine us. And what an important idea, to realize that people might be watching us and will be affected by our response to the fire!

I love your idea, and I hope to do more devotional type posts once school starts again, as well. Thank you for your great example and for reminding us of where our priorities should be! It's a reminder that I especially need now.

I'm basically finished for the year. Exams are done. Graduation is tomorrow (Sat., June 11), and I have a few school chores and meetings next week. Getting together would be fun!
